About Us

OUR STORY

In the shadow of Mount Ararat, where strength and resilience conquer even the tallest of peaks, the initiative NO VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMAN was born. Founded by Ahmet Ertugrul of the Dogubayazit Faith Tourism Development and Research Association, this powerful movement emerged in response to the surge of domestic violence during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In April 2021, as the world began to heal, 100 brave women took on the challenge to ascend Mount Ararat, symbolizing their courage and unyielding spirit. This initiative is not just about ending violence; it is about recognizing the unbreakable strength and resilience of women everywhere.

Join us in our mission to create awareness, recognition, and unwavering support for all women. Together, we can climb any mountain.

OUR TEAM

Founder
AHMET ERTUGRUL
Born in the legendary Mount Ararat region, I have been passionate about nature since childhood. I am the founder and leader of D.N.A.K., a volunteer rescue team in Mount Ararat region. Inspired by the beauty and challenges of the natural world, I organize free trips to encourage women to step outside their comfort zones, explore the great outdoors, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the environment. We also provide gifts to those who are less fortunate. Our initiative celebrates the beauty around us and serves as a call to action.
Event Organizer
EMİNE BAYSIZ
Graduated from the Erzurum Ataturk University in Public Relations and Promotion, I enjoy meeting and socialising with others. I joined one of the first "No Violence Against Women" programs, and wholeheartedly support its mission. Now, I am proud to be a part of the team. By embracing the challenges of nature, we discover our inner strength and capabilities. Each experience not only nutures our bodies but also enriches our spirits, fostering a sense of community and empowerment.
